1K - $124K a year Responsibilities The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives by carrying out marketing communication functions.
This is an operational role which implements the marketing plan by developing communication materials (newsletters, tradeshow collateral, advertisements, banners, etc.
) that is consistent with the overall brand image of the company.
Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising, and promotional staff and activities, such as trade shows and marketing events.
Define the measurement mechanism and budget for print and email campaigns.
Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects.
Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity and results.
Determine and manage the marketing budget.
Plans and implements timely and flawless marketing communication plans that are linked to strategy and business objectives.
Drives awareness within Corporate Communication of key product milestones/messages for press including message development as needed.
Define objectives for customer surveys and launch surveys as required.
Maintain media contacts database and develop press releases.
Oversee and direct various agencies and drive creative strategy and process.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BA) in Marketing, Communications, or related field is required; or equivalent working experience.
Experience at a multi-division global company is required.
MBA in Marketing, Business, or related field is preferred.
Working experience in the Manufacturing industry is required.
Experience in a position with the responsibility of managing department budget is a plus.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Superior business writing and editing skills, including the ability to write and edit reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Proven ability to plan, manage, and develop corporate brand, image, and public relations programs.
Ability to present effectively.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to identify and solve complicated problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables and situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to successfully conduct proactive communications programs that employ creativity and use of a variety of tools, forums, and media.
Knowledge of process management best practices.
Knowledge of Contract Management systems, Design software, Internet software, Project Management software.
Knowledge of developing websites and/or e-commerce programs.
Knowledge of using Microsoft SharePoint.
Knowledge of working with CRM tools.
Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
