CDL Class A Truck Driver and CDL Class B Truck Driver -- LOCAL, UNION!
Bartlett, IL

We are a full-service, wholesale fresh produce distributor located in Bartlett, IL. Top product and friendly service to our customers are our top priorities. Due to continued growth, we are accepting applications for CDL Class A Truck Drivers and CDL Class B Truck Drivers. These are full-time, permanent, Direct-Hire positions in a UNION shop.

Work for a GROWING family-owned produce and restaurant supply company in Bartlett, IL as a CDL Class A Truck Driver or CDL Class B Truck Driver. Make deliveries within 250-mile radius of Bartlett, IL to restaurants using lift-gate, ramp, and hand-cart. No CDL experience necessary - will train the right individuals! Must have touch freight delivery or heavy lifting abilities/background.

CDL Class B Truck Driver Work Schedule:
1st shift, start time 4am-7am
Work 5 days/off 2 days
Saturday is mandatory work day
Hourly pay plus OT after 40 hrs/week
Work 50-60 hrs per week

CDL Class A Truck Driver Work Schedule:
2nd shift, start time 6pm-9pm
Work 5 days/off 2 days
Sunday is mandatory work day
Hourly pay plus OT after 40 hrs/week
Work 50-60 hrs per week

Responsibilities of the CDL Class A Truck Driver and CDL Class B Truck Driver

? Backing in and out of docks
? Drive CDL trucks to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations
? Touch freight, hand delivery to restaurants using hand-cart/2-wheel dolly, lift-gate, ramps
? Provide excellent customer service
? Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
? Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers
? Union Shop - 60 day probation

Requirements of the CDL Class A Truck Driver and CDL Class B Truck Driver

? Must be flexible with work schedule; days and times. Weekends and Holidays included. Overtime work as requested
? Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen
? Hold a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver s License, with air brakes endorsement and you must be able to drive a manual transmission
? Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
? Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
? Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
? Be able to lift, push, pull 75 pounds with no assistance
? Use of lift-gate, ramps, and 2-wheel dolly
? Make 10-20 stops per day; touch freight; hand unload


Salary for CDL Class A Truck Driver and CDL Class B Truck Driver

CDLA -- 2nd shift - $17.90-$19.30/hour start plus OT after 40 hours per week. Work 50-60 hours per week.
CDLB -- 1st shift - $15.50-$16.50/hour start plus OT after 40 hours per week. Work 50-60 hours per week.
