Our client is a Fortune 1000 Financial Services Company and is seeking an individual whose main responsibility will be assist in the federal and state tax reporting function within the Tax Department.
This includes tax compliance and preparation, tax provision, research, tax systems, and special projects.
The company has a 30 person tax group with excellent room for growth.
The ideal candidate will have 3
years of public accounting or corporate tax experience at a large company.
Some of the Responsibilities include :
Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns and supporting workpapers, estimated tax payments, and various other tax compliance filing requirements.
Assist in the preparation of the quarterly tax provision, including reports to management and the external auditor, valuation allowance review, account reconciliations, tax basis balance sheet support, and execution of internal controls.
Responsible for tax implications of cross-border transaction and coordination of global and regional projects.
Interacting with local tax teams, and tax research and writing.
Work on US tax matters, including more complex projects associates with the maintenance of tax records.
Some of the Requirements include:
BS in Accounting.
3
years of Tax experience.
MST and/or CPA preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
